Walnuts in the oven
Experimental Recipe (based on this):
1 egg white
1/2 cup brown sugar
1t salt
40ml finely diced crystalized ginger
40ml finely diced dried & sugared pears
2 cups walnuts
Break egg whites, toss in nuts and stir to coat well, then pear + ginger. Mix dry stuff and then pour on top. Mix well. Cook for ~30 min at 150ºC.
Notes: the pear and ginger flavor are subsumed by brown sugar. For...
